Atlanta lost on the field, but their offensive performance against a relatively strong pass defence allows them to continue to stay top. Similarly, New England’s good but not great performance against Seattle was enough to ensure staying near the top. And Seattle, well it stays pretty much as it was! The movers and shakers of the week, however, were Dallas, Washington and Miami. Denver, Minnesota, New Orleans, San Diego, and Green Bay all drop.
Rating the Week 10 Performances
Looking at the week 10 performances only (taking into account the opponent), Washington’s performance looks the strongest. Largely due to it coming against what is still considered a top defence in the Vikings. Tennessee blew out the Pack, but overall that counted for less due to the lesser opponent they faced. Arizona’s win was unimpressive, and their effort likely would not have beaten many teams other than the 49ers. The Dallas road victory in Pittsburgh was impressive, but Pittsburgh is also now officially a middle of the road team, so the degree of difficulty points Dallas gets for the win are reduced.
